Walking on Yarn

That’s how I feel today! As I don’t know how much I can babble on my blog about Secrit Stuff, i won’t, but I’ll just say it this way, the editorlife snuck up on me during the night and bit me some in the morning when I opened my email inbox. And after overcoming the initial shock, I’m now super hyped and high. There’s a reason some people refer to yarn as crack 😉 Suffice to say, I’m one happy Peachy at the moment!

To make things worse, I took some pictures today, to share my little goodness of yarny and fibery life with you.

First off, I already talked about the load of yarn for the next sweater project – well, behold the glory here, Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran:

The colour is pretty accurate, it is a lovely dusty purple. Will become the tilted duster, eventually, I guess. After I get round to frogging the Natalie Coat, because that is so not gonna work with the yarn. This will become a cozy afghan for myself, for the cool mornings spent working through all the stuff that accumulates during the night.

Next, my two optim rovings from EGMTK!

And as i have been talking so much about my MS3 knitting (as in I knit, and said I did), here’s my progress – starting on the second chart for the wing:

The usual nondescript icky lace, unblocked – but I also have it with cute cat looking:

Isn’t she just adorable?

But I honestly cannot do my Yoga with the cats around. They usually sleep through all my daily activities, but once I started my routine in the living room for once, using the nice afternoon sun and warmth, they sneaked up to me, started liking my toes, bumping into my, and generally demanding attention. Real cuties.
